The Right Word is an English specialist centre that coaches students from primary levels to junior college using our proprietary SAIL Approach. Requirements:

• have an openness towards adopting the SAIL approach in teaching
• achieved an ‘A’ grade in O’ Level English or a minimum ‘B’ grade in A’ Level General Paper
• have at least 2 years of teaching experience in local schools or in the private education sector
• acquired a Bachelor’s degree, a diploma from a local polytechnic or has undergone NIE training
• be able to commit to teaching students until the end of an academic year
• have unwavering passion for teaching English to young learners
• able to commit to a 5-day work week (4 weekdays, 1 weekend)
• possess patience, charisma, faith and commitment in guiding students

Responsibilities:

• coach Primary school students English and Writing classes/workshops
• undergo training to pick up TRW’s proprietary strategies and methods in using the SAIL approach
• deliver classes using the SAIL approach-attend sharing and brain
• storming sessions as part of professional development to continually innovate and improve teaching methodology
• work with the team to implement projects held from time to time
• develop and enhance material according to trends in the local syllabus
• keep track of student progress and communicate with parents-mark worksheets and work given
